Team of Passion, 28 January 2007, De Peppel, Zeist (NL)
On the 28th of January, I’ll be playing lead guitars for the Stream of Passion tribute band: Team of Passion.
Transentience’s keyboard player Joop organised a fanmeet. At first, this was all okay with Stream of Passion. They were going to attend if we could fix enough people for the event. We even got an announcement on the official Stream of Passion website and the promise of an acoustic set by Stream of Passion to complement the tribute band.
A week later, however, they backtracked and said that it was highly unlikely (read: no effin’ way, dude!) that they were going to show. The grapes were turning sour! Even now, we’ve still no explanation as to why they aren’t going to show.
Luckily, the SoP fans turned out to be a really loyal bunch! “What the heck” they said. We’re coming anyway. We want to meet other fans and we want to see the tribute band play! At least some people stick to their guns!
On to the tribute band. In this band, we’ve got the following people.

We studied 7 (seven) songs, starting from the last week of December. We hope we’ll rock. I sure had a hard time trying to copy Lori Linstruth’s solo’s and I’m still not 70% there!
The clock is ticking but I’m excited at another chance to gig!
