Just back from an evening with Bruce Springsteen. Well, actually, he was on a stage some n feet away from me, but still …
It’s … It’s the first time I ever saw Bruce on stage. It’s a crying shame, because he really is The Boss. A full 2-hour show that just blew me away. I definitely have to experience this again!
This is the setlist. Personal favourites: No Surrender almost got me crying, just the same as it does at home. Candy’s Room and Night were most definitely favourites. I love those songs. Last to die gave me more goosebumps. And hearing Born to Run live was simply amazing. I just wished he played something from Ashbury Park …
Next Dutch gig: 18 June in the Amsterdam ArenA (The worst venue in the world). But me and my wife are going to be there.
